Altitude sickness is one of the most common concerns of this trek, since the trek goes through heights above (5,000 m / 16,404 ft). Additional costs can be for snacks, bottled water, hot showers, charging electronic devices, internet use, laundry and personal shopping. Tips should be taken into consideration when budgeting.
